This year Radhanath Swami couldn’t attend the kirtan festival at Mayapur, because he had to leave for Rishikesh. The annual yoga festival organized by parmarth niketan ashram overlapped with the kirtan festival at Mayapur.
Prabhupada gave us the understanding that preaching is also sankirtan. So from that perspective, Maharaj was doing sankirtan at Rishikesh, while the devotees were attending the kirtan festival at Mayapur.
